Dudley loves his sofa. Here he'd managed to dislodge his cover, so Si draped it over him and he snuggled down and looked so contented.

Weekend breakfasts are his favourites! Here he's tucking into sardines, scrambled egg, a bit of toast and some left over pasta - YUM!

It's so nice to be able to go walkies without a coat on so he can show off his muscles!

A chance snap captures Dudley at his most relaxed. Lit by nothing more than a wall light, we think this looks really atmospheric.

Dudley has very large paws, emphasised by the fact that they are white.

This was taken using the self-timer on the camera which beeps as it counts down. This got his attention and brought about this lovely expression.

Dudley can sit and knows he'll be told he's a good boy if he does and maybe even get a treat! He's discovered it's a very good way of getting attention. Not always so keen to sit on command though.

As we have probably mentioned before, Dudley is a complete fuss-tart. He'll go legs up for anybody, anywhere...

Dudley is a leaner. This was taken by the Groundhoundhomer stand at the Spring Garden Show in Ipswich at Easter. His young admirer was squatting down and giving him a fuss when he decided to lean against her and push her onto her bottom! The harder she tried to move back and get up, the more he tried to lean. Sorry but I don't know her name, but at least she could see the funny side!

As he spends so much time asleep on his sofa, we get plenty of opportunities to take some interesting shots of him doing what he does best. Si thought this one would look good as a study in black and white.

We got Dudley (and Geezer before him) from Greyhoundhomer in Ipswich. Those who run the charity work so hard fundraising for these wonderful dogs and we like to go along and give our support whenever we can. This was the Spring Garden Show at the Suffolk showground (now called Trinity Park) in Ipswich, which was held over Easter 2009.

Dudley's friend Dilly is rather fond of ice cream... Her patience paid off!

Not just greyhounds were welcomed on the stand at the show. Here some slightly hairier specimens get a taste of Sara's liver cake. It was a lovely warm day and many dogs visiting the show were glad to make use of the doggy water bowls placed around the stand.

It all got a bit much for Dudders... this was his first stand visit and he just had to have a lie down!

Here Laura the greyhound is extending a friendly welcome to a couple of bearded collies.

Dudley is not always the gentleman he should be. Here he is sitting on Izzy legs! She didn't seem to mind - I think he's a bit of a charmer on the quiet!

Behind the stand at the Show there was a paddock where the dogs could have a run. Dudley absolutely loved it.
